Two years ago I called my favorite restaurant to place a pickup order for ewa-aganyin and heard a different voice from the one I was used to hearing. I remember how cheerful your voice sounded and noticed how much better I felt after the call just from being able to feel some of that happiness.
I got dressed, drove down to pickup and was able to put your beautiful face to the voice I heard and it was at that moment I knew you were gonna be someone special. I tried to fight the urge to get to know you more but could only last a couple more visits before giving in and that’s how our story started.
Everyday the thought of how we met crosses my mind, I feel a deep sense of gratitude and luck because I can’t picture how my life might have turned out without you in it. You’re the most beautiful, empathetic, happy, hardworking, joyful, optimistic, resourceful, funny, warm, kind person I know. You’ve taught me how to show love in ways I didn’t think I could, and helped me open my heart to love and trust again.
